Why this campaign exists
Gaza is experiencing a catastrophic water crisis. Displaced families survive on 3 to 10 liters of water per person per day, far below the WHO emergency minimum of 15L. Sanitation has collapsed and skin infections have tripled since January. Blue Filter is in Gaza now, sourcing, chlorinating, and delivering safe water by tanker truck across North Gaza and Gaza City, and has distributed 160,000 liters to date.
Traditional humanitarian finance faces severe blockades on movement and fund transfers into Gaza. Funds are blocked or lose value at every intermediary step. The Alef NFT Drop lets a global community fund Blue Filter directly, peer to peer, with less than a one-cent transaction fee.
