Eric Siegel - Founder & WASH Specialist
Eric shares his life’s story of mysticism, hip hop, and WASH through his paintings, which are digitized as Livity NFTs and Ordinals. This drives the vision and mission of Livity: to mobilize global communities using art to transform communities and improve lives.
Born in Portland, Oregon. Eric spent much of his early life in North Carolina and has most recently lived in South and Central America, as well as Oceania. You can find Eric’s artwork is on the following blockchains:
Hip-Hop
Timeless echoes of expression, rebellion, resistance, resilience and celebration. Hip hop is expressive: music, graffiti, dance, spoken word. Rhythms, harmonies, DJing, MCing. Emerging in the south Bronx in the 1970s and spreading worldwide, the art is deeply rooted in the triumphs and adversities of African American and Latino communities. I come with utmost respect and aim to be a humble guest and contributor to the art. Hip hop is life.
Mysticism
Mysticism is beyond ordinary perception, delving into spiritual beliefs and practices. A deep, inner sense of connection with higher universal powers. By way of the journey, mystics seek to fulfill purpose. Art is exploration though the realms of mysticism
Livity
A core concept of Rastafari, “livity” refers to a way of life that emphasizes living in harmony with nature, spiritual awareness, and moral righteousness. Livity is based on principles of natural living, the interconnectivity of all living beings, respect for oneself and others, and the pursuit of a spiritual connection with Jah (God). Livity avoids harmful behaviors and promotes holistic well-being.
