About Livity
Mission
Livity partners with communities, organizations, and artists to digitize sacred stories and artwork as NFTs. These are programmable digital assets designed to raise funds, build community, and support community-owned economic systems without relying on extractive aid models or state-controlled intermediaries.
We’re a team of WASH experts, design specialists, and business strategists working to strengthen systems focused on water, sanitation, hygiene, health, education, and climate. We develop open-source Web3 tools and provide technical consultancy for organizations ready to fund communities directly.
Our Approach
Livity takes a different approach from traditional aid, offering an alternative way to get funds directly to the people who need them.
Traditional Aid
Funds pass through 5-7 intermediaries before reaching communities. Each layer extracts fees, imposes conditions, and delays delivery. Donor governments attach political preconditions.
The system controls the narrative, and aid becomes a vehicle for compliance.
Livity
Community members publish stories, images, and art as NFTs. Every purchase flows directly to community-led implementers. On-chain tracking keeps every transaction visible. No political conditions. No bureaucratic delays.
The community controls their own narrative, and art becomes the vehicle for direct action.
Meet the Founder
Eric Siegel
FOUNDER & WASH SPECIALIST
Eric is an artist with over 10 years of experience working with Indigenous communities across the Americas and Oceania to strengthen equitable access to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). He has supported initiatives with partners including Akvo, UNICEF, FAO, Mercy Corps, the Peace Corps, GIZ, and multinational development banks.
Having lived and worked in communities without reliable access to clean water, Eric knows firsthand how structural barriers have historically kept resources from reaching the people they’re meant to serve. Livity is his answer: a platform where art connects directly to impact, and communities lead their own development.
His artwork is his life’s story of mysticism, hip hop, and WASH.
